Gear Reduction Axles: The F550 Severe Duty Stage 2 upgrade includes the following: Bolt on geared hub sets front and rear. These gear reduction hubs match the increased tire size, speedometer, ABS and TCM computers perfectly. This not only removes up to 50% of the torque load off of the drivetrain it also provides the same factory power levels and transmission shift points as the stock F550 with the bigger tires installed. The gearbox hubs provide up to 4 inches of axle clearance above the factory trucks ground clearance. Everything we install is maintained under our 1 year 12,000 mile warranty and is serviceable at any Ford dealer worldwide.

Heavy Duty Front Axle: Our “All Ford” parts Dana 80 front axle is rated at 12,000 pounds capacity and can bolt into the F550 with no lift on the trucks suspension at all. It is serviceable at any Ford dealer worldwide and can be used as a factory replacement straight axle. It can also be mounted with the bolt on geared hubs as mentioned above.

CTIS System: Includes an on board engine driven roots style air compressor, it has 22 to 38 CFM, depending upon RPM. In cab controls makeup a complete system to air the tires up and down at will. The central tire inflation system will air the tires up from 15 psi to full inflation in 4 minutes, double the military standard.

Wheels and Tires: The wheels are 3 piece aluminum 20 x 10 with a powder coated steel plate center in the F550 reversible bolt pattern. They flip from front to rear to provide an exact same track in the rear. They come stamped DOT approved and are rated at 13,000 pounds per wheel and 8000 pounds per tire. Options include the 3 piece bolt together run flat/bead lock insert, and the 335 80R 20 Continental MPT 81 tire. Or you can order any of these as separate units, mounting and balancing.

Each truck build requires customer provided specifications, type of frame and components, and other details for an accurate quote.
